ASSOCIATE CLINICIAN

Therapeutic Approach: Kaycie has an attachment-based approach to therapy, incorporating client-centered therapy and DBT into the work with her clients. She believes in creating a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients can be their genuine selves and meet challenges in a secure environment.

Educational History: Kaycie graduated from Lee University with a B.A. in Psychology and Counseling. She graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a Masters in Marriage and Family Counseling.

Certifications/Experience: In her undergrad, Kaycie interned at a therapeutic riding center that incorporated equine-assisted therapies primarily working with children and adolescents. She has completed advanced training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention as well as Sand Tray Therapy. She is also receiving training in DBT.

Favorite Self Care: Getting out in nature, taking care of her plants, listening to music, and laughing at cute animal videos

Hobbies: Hiking, snuggling with her rabbit, walking her dog, dancing, crafts, and working on a puzzle
