Therapeutic Style:

Yutong believes that many of our struggles are developmental in nature, and she aspires to provide a nurturing environment to help clients better understand themselves and to witness their own growth in a holistic way. She uses a client-centered approach and draws techniques from a wide range of theoretical orientations.

Educational History:

Yutong graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in biology. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Vanderbilt University.


Yutong is currently receiving training in comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Areas of interest: children, couples, family, college students, immigrants, LGBTQIA+, trauma, addictions, emotion dysregulation

Hiking, camping, running, spending time with family and friends. 😊
