Our High School Neurodivergent-Focused DBT Skills Group, led by Amber Singer, is specifically tailored for neurodivergent teens seeking to develop essential skills for managing emotions, building healthy relationships, and navigating the unique challenges of adolescence. This psychoeducational group focuses on learning and practicing the core skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) across its four key modules: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness, with an emphasis on adapting these skills to fit neurodivergent experiences.
The group provides a supportive space for processing experiences, sharing challenges, and building community. Through engaging activities, group discussions, and practical exercises, participants will gain valuable tools to enhance emotional well-being, improve communication, and handle stress more effectively.
This group is open for enrollment to clients both within and outside of our practice. Participation requires having a primary clinician, who can be either from our practice or an external provider. If your primary clinician is external, separate intake appointments with Dr. Webb and Amber Singer will be required before enrolling. Ongoing monthly check-ins with Amber Singer will also be required for participants in this group.
