Amber is a dedicated and compassionate counselor with experience in offering therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families. Her approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, understanding, and a profound belief in the resilience of the human spirit.

Educational History: Amber completed her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University in 2022. She remains committed to ongoing professional development and stays updated with the latest research and therapeutic approaches to ensure that her clients receive the highest quality of care.

Therapeutic Approach: Amber’s therapeutic approach is client-centered and strength-based. She believes in establishing a safe and non-judgmental environment in which clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotions-focused Therapy, and Sensorimotor Therapy, customizing these approaches to address each client’s individual needs and goals.

Areas of Expertise: Amber specializes in addressing relationship issues within family systems, with a focus on LGBTQIA+ identity and couples work, religious trauma, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. She brings extensive experience in working with children, teens, and adults. Amber’s approach is collaborative and individualized, as she partners with clients to develop coping strategies, heighten self-awareness, and promote personal growth and healing.
